An emphatic rout saw Uruguay regain the UFWC title from Venezuela. Vicente Sanchez and Diego Godin put Uruguay 2-0 up within the first 15 minutes. Sebastian Abreu made it 3 just after half-time, and Sergio Blanco capped it at 4-0 two minutes from time. To make matters worse for Venezuela, Miguel Mea Vitali was sent off in the final minute.

Uruguay are the new Unofficial Football World Champions, having taken the title from Argentina in a 3-2 victory last week. But La Celeste (The Sky Blue) are no strangers to the UFWC, and actually have a very good record in the competition. In fact, this is their seventh reign as unofficial champions.

Uruguay retained the UFWC title in the absence of injured Luis Suarez with this win over Trinidad & Tobago. Edinson Cavani scored twice in what was a comfortable 3-1 victory, although Uruguay had been behind to an early Trinidad & Tobago goal. The win sets the Unofficial Football World Champions up for their Copa America Centenario campaign.

A comfortable World Cup qualifying for Uruguay over Chile saw Uruguay reclaim the UFWC title. Diego Godin, Alvaro Pereira and Martin Caceres were the scorers in a 3-0 win. The result brought to an end Chile's five-match UFWC reign. Uruguay last held the title in June 2014, and once again become Unofficial Football World Champions.
